Provision of the online offering and web hosting:
To provide our online offering, we use the services of web hosting providers. In doing so, data is processed that is necessary for the operation, security and delivery of the website.
This includes in particular IP addresses, server log files as well as content and technical information that arises when our online offering is used. In addition, we use a content delivery network (CDN) for the fast and secure delivery of content.
For security reasons, log file information is stored for a maximum period of 14 days and then deleted.

Aggregated access analysis:
We process access data of users in aggregated form in order to statistically evaluate the use of our online offering and to improve its user-friendliness and content.
For this purpose, the IP address of users is processed only briefly when our online offering is accessed, in order to derive rough location information (e.g. country or region) from it by means of geolocation. The full IP address is not stored.
Subsequently, only aggregated data without personal reference is stored. This includes in particular the time of access (where applicable in summarized form), the derived geographical information, and information on the content accessed or the accesses.
The aggregated data does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about individual persons and is used exclusively for statistical evaluation and for the technical and content-related improvement of our online offering.
